Founder's Note
I have spent the past 20 years building systems that make complex operations run automatically.
As a DevOps engineer, I designed infrastructure-as-code frameworks using tools like Terraform, Chef, and Kubernetes. I built CI/CD pipelines that automated how software gets built, tested, and deployed. The goal was always the same: eliminate manual steps, reduce errors, and build systems that scale.
A conversation with a CPA friend, not too long ago, changed my thinking. He started describing his practice’s pain points. Manual data entry. Documents scattered across email threads. Month-end close processes that required the same repetitive steps every single time. The more he talked, the more I recognized the problem. These were the same inefficiencies I had been solving in software engineering for two decades. They just had not been solved in accounting yet.
That conversation stayed with me. I am a licensed CPA. I understand financial controls, compliance, and what audit-ready actually means. I also know how to build automated systems that are reliable, traceable, and built to scale. Very few people sit at that intersection.
